‘We know that parents and carers often have many practical questions about the school, related to uniform, transport term dates and policies.
Below, we cover several key areas of information that you may find helpful.
Please get in touch using the contact form at the bottom of this page if you have other questions you’d like to talk about.’
Getting to school
All of our young people are transported to Headlands by taxi, depending where they are located they may share this journey.
School uniform
On joining Headlands School, young people be issued with two polo shirts and a hooded sweatshirt.
Parents and carers may order additional items ready for a new term, however we do ask that any order is received by the school no later than four weeks before the end of each term. This will help us ensure that the new items arrive in time for the start of term.
Please use this form below to request uniform: School Uniform Request Form
Residential pupils will also be provided with their full uniform.
For children and young people with specific sensory issues, alternative arrangements can be made to meet individual needs.

Social media
Social media can be an important and supportive tool for parents and young people.
However, we suggest all parents and carers read this guide to social media, published by the Welsh Independent Schools Council.
Our policies
We would suggest all parents/carers make themselves aware of the school’s policies.
These are found in the Policy section of this website
However if you require a hard copy of any of these documents or require them in a different language, please contact the school and we will send them to you via post.
Further information or clarification can be obtained by contacting the school directly.
