Located in our grounds on the clifftops of Penarth, the Animal Care Centre is home to a range of animals, cared for by staff and students.
We have alpacas and goats grazing on the grass, a collection of beehives, and a family of ducks that lay fantastic eggs.
The students help to nurture the animals, by getting involved with feeding and cleaning, and by providing regular care and affection.
Working with the animals provides young people with the emotional support that animal care can bring, while also giving hands-on experience to young people who wish to follow careers in animal care and agriculture.
